Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL)

Firearms Safety Act of 2013 (FSA 2013), all persons, unless exempt, must complete a state-mandated, four-hour handgun safety course, prior to the purchasing or ‘receiving’, for ownership, a handgun, in the state of Maryland.  Our services provide everything necessary to complete the course.  We furnish the study materials, firearms, ammunition, eye and hearing protection, and a comfortable environment to learn the fundamentals of pistol shooting as a sport, self-defense or other interest.
